By engaging with us via SMS, you agree to these Terms of Service.

  1. Use of SMS Messaging
  • Communication: By sending or receiving SMS messages to/from us, you agree to use the service for lawful purposes only. Our SMS service may be used for confirming appointments, sending reminders, or engaging in conversation related to your legal matter.
  • Appointment Reminders: You will receive SMS appointment confirmations and reminders from us. If you wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you may do so by contacting our office through SMS or other provided means.
  • SMS is Not Secure: Please be advised that SMS is not a secure method for transmitting sensitive or confidential information. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, or legal details via text message. If you need to discuss sensitive matters, please contact us via phone or email.
  1. Opting In and Opting Out
  • Opting In: By sending us an SMS message or replying to one of our texts, you opt-in to receive communications from us through SMS.
  • Opting Out: You can opt-out of receiving SMS communications at any time by replying with “STOP.” If you opt-out, you will no longer receive appointment reminders or other SMS updates from us. However, you may still need to contact us by other means for important legal matters.
  1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By engaging with us via SMS, you consent to receiving messages related to your legal matter, appointments, and other relevant communications from Friedman Law Firm. Standard text messaging rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan.

  1. Responsibility for Information Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information, including your phone number. Please inform us of any changes to your contact information to ensure continued communication.

  1. Termination of SMS Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate SMS messaging services at any time, including in the event of misuse or if you violate these Terms of Service. We may also discontinue this service for maintenance or operational reasons.

  1. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any delays, failures, or damages caused by technical issues with the SMS system or carrier-related problems. We also do not guarantee the delivery of every text message, as network issues or other factors may impact SMS delivery.

  1. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of SMS communication after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
